Get Involved
Cascades Theatrical is always looking for passionate people to help take our theatre and talent to the next level! Have you been looking for a way to help CTC, but weren’t sure how? How about helping on our Membership Committee? If you're artistic, why not help construct our sets or design sound and lighting for our productions? Perhaps you're looking to direct, stage manage or work behind the scenes as part of our crew. No amount of help is too small or too great! Now is the perfect opportunity to share your talents and skills and help ensure CTC’s success for another 40 years! For more information please email ctcinfo@cascadestheatrical.org
There's a place for you here.
Design
See ideas come to life
Each designer brings with them their own unique style and flair. Designers work closely with directors to ensure that their vision is carried through in all areas of the production. Every aspect is collaborative effort to bring the director's vision to life and the designers are an integral part of that process.
Designing opportunities can include: costumes, props, sets, set dresser, lights and sound.
Crew
Running around in the dark was never so much fun
Think that magic only happens once the lights go on? The crew are the ones backstage making sure that everything runs smoothly onstage, all without the audience knowing.
Crew can consist of running scene changes (switching props or furniture if need be), helping actors with quick costume changes, or running the light and/or sound boards.
Assistant Direct
& Stage Manger
The glue that holds the show together
The Assistant Director and Stage Manager's may be the most important people involved with the production. They are the time keepers, note takers, the ones who make sure cues happen on time, actors are ready and in place, and that the show runs without a hitch.
Front of House
The first face the audience sees
The front of house team is the easiest way to start getting involved at CTC. Each night or afternoon of a performance, we assemble four volunteers to run the bar (OLCC server's permit required), house manage, usher, or run the will call.
These positions are only one night commitment, and, as a thank you, you will be able to see that night's performance.
